Your Role:
As the CFO at Whitebox Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, developing financial strategies, managing financial risks, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the company. You will work closely with the owners to align financial management with short and long-term business objectives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
- Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
- Assure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
- Manage the company’s financial resources, including accounting, financing, and capital investment.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with federal and state laws.
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organizational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and financial management software.
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA or relevant certification (CPA or CFA) is preferred.
